FC/APC Singlemode 3.0mm Pre-polished Ferrule Field Assembly Connector The Field Assembly Connector products have been factory-polished, eliminating the need for any polishing materials, thereby enabling the preparation and termination of optical fibres in a fraction of the time of other conventional methods. The connector also uses V-groove mechanical splice principals and therefore the use of an epoxy is not required for the termination of the connector. This Fast Connector offers convenience in assembling and strong stability. It allows simple optical core connection without any additional practices, or adhesives. It does not require a working space by connecting itself in the challenging environments such as a telephone pole and a manhole. It reconnects the cables and reduces the connection defect rate by an installer error in the field.Assembly of the FC type quick connector requires only normal fiber preparation tools: a fiber stripping tool, wipes and a fiber cleaver. No electrical power supply is needed. Just Strip the buffer, cleave and clean the fiber and then insert the fiber into the Fast Connector.Installation takes just minutes and couldn't be easier.The Field Assembly Connector series are already a popular solution for optical wiring inside buildings and floors for LAN & CCTV applications and with the expansion of FTTH, is already proving itself to be the connector of choice by incumbents, municipalities, utilities & alternative carriers. Arrange for a FAOC to assemble     2. Insert screw cap into optical cable.     3. Strip the coating of optical cable over 40mm.      4.Mark the point of 22mm length on the 900㎛buffer using a rule on the polybag.     5. Strip the coating of 900/250㎛ from the end of 900㎛ to the point of 22mm marked(about 18mm) and clean the fiber using the alcohol and gauze.     6. Cut off the fiber at the length of 13mm using optical fiber cleaver.     7. Insert optical cable into the fiber guide on the boot. when it is checked  the bending of cable as above, stop inserting,     8. And maintaining the cable bending with right hand, push the connecting holder forward to the end and fix the fiber.     9. Take the boot cover down, connect the screw cap with boot by turning it and make the coating & strength member (yarn) fix.      Cut the yarn with scissor and arrange it.     10. Turn the protrusion of housing toward the bottom and unite it to the body.      Completion.     A.Pull out the housing and then separate them by turning the screw cap     B. Pull the fiber connecting holder in reverse with procedure 8. And then, pull out the cable and reassemble.
