Approximately 35% ~ 45% of this amount is the heat of the high temperature coke discharged from the coke oven. By installing a waste heat recovery unit for this very process, waste heat energy is recovered as electricity power, saving money and reducing carbon emissions, and water is not wasted from the process and not contaminated with toxic pollutants.  Design Ingenuity Coke dry quenching waste heat recovery requires high sealing efficiency of the boiler to ensure zero inert gas leakage, meanwhile, flue gas entering the boiler contains coke particles that can cause abrasion to the heat exchange surface. Therefore, the proper design of the waste heat boiler is paramount to the heat recovery system. Our WHRB adopts inner hang-in-suspension structure to allow free movement of the entire membrane section. Membrane section is double sealed by folded steel boards to ensure zero air leakage. With a pre-designed optimal gas velocity, heat transfer surface areas that are in initial direct contact with flue gas are also attached with additional heat-resistant stainless steel covers to ensure the long lifespan of our product. Low temperature section employs fin tubes to expand heat exchange surface area for the maximization of steam output. We choose natural circulation to be boiler’s circulation mode.
