Special device has adopted 3 grade telescopic, 2 grade rotary and 3 grade amplitude mechanism to form a space motion system with three-dimension space and 6 degree of freedom, which can send the relevant staff and inspect equipments safely and fast to any location the bridge magnitude allows.The vehicle has adopted sole hydraulic outrigger legs to increase the side work stability of special device, providing more personal safety for bridge inspection. The hydraulic outrigger legs use crawler type structure with more contact area and smaller crushing stress on legs. This structure has two advantages: a. larger contact area brings more friction relative to the ground. And this helps to reduce coasting in work. b. Smaller crushing stress can reduce the damage from the legs to the ground in work. The hydraulic system has adopted modularized structure and the layout of the hydraulic lines is orderly and reasonable. And the control system uses advanced CAN buses architecture and wireless control. The operator on the platform under the bridge can with wireless remote control directly control the rotation of crawler during work to realize the vehicle travel while working.
