Type TJ-FDN-300 Low-chloride High-concentration Super High-efficiency Water-reducing Admixture (Super Plasticizer)

This product complies with China national standard of concrete admixture (GB8076-2008).

Its ingredient is β-naphthalene sulfonate formaldehyde high polycondensate. It is non air-entrainment and high-concentration super high-efficiency water-reducing admixture with very good comprehensive performance in the concrete project. With strong dispersion effect on cement particles and high water-reducing rate, it can save the cement consumption of project and greatly improve the fluidity and workability of mortar and concrete; with obvious hardening accelerating and enhancement, it can greatly improve the strength of mortar and concrete and has good adaptability to various kinds of cement. It doesn’t contain chloride and non-corrosion to concrete reinforcing. It has been widely used in highway, railway bridge, high-rise building, port and dock, hydropower project, prestressed component and other concrete projects.

I. Main Technical Performances

1. This product has two kinds of powder admixture and liquid admixture. The power one is chocolate brown; and the liquid one is brownish black. It has no toxicity or pollution, and is not inflammable.2. The addition of the powder one is 0.4~1.0% of cementing material; and that of liquid one is 1000~2500ml/100kg of cementing material; and the water reducing ratio reaches 15~25%.3. Under the same water-cement ratio, the initial slump of concrete can be improved more than 12cm when adding this product, which makes the fluidity greatly increased.

4. When appropriately adding this product, the strength of mortar and concrete can be increased 60~80% in one day and three days; 40~70% in seven days; 30~50% in 28 days; and the long-term strength also have been improved correspondingly. 

For example, when selecting and using Wannianqing P.042.5-level cement, natural medium sand of 2.81 fineness modulus, artificial granite gravels of Φ5~40mm continuous graduation and compressive strength of greater than or equal to 105MPa and drinking water, it can make C60-level high-strength and high-performance concrete for trial.

5. When the strength of concrete is basically same with the slump, the cement consumption of concrete can be reduced 10~25% compared with that of the concrete without adding water-reducing admixture, which means to save 20~40t cement when used one ton of this product. 6. Adding this product can greatly improve the workability of concrete and increase various mechanical performance of concrete component. It can be corresponding to improve compressive strength, tensile strength, folding strength, elastic modulus, and long-term strength.7. This product has good adaptability to various kinds of cement including portland cement, ordinary portland cement, portland blastfurnace-slag cement, portland-pozzolana cement and portland fly-ash cement, and also can mix with other concrete admixture in conformity with China national standards.8. This product has low content of sodium sulfate and chloride ion, and is the first choice of compounding green high-strength high-performance concrete admixture for combination factory of concrete admixture.

II. Scope of Application

This product is widely applied into concrete projects, especially adapting to the following concrete projects: flowing concrete, plasticizing concrete, steam-curing concrete, permeability resistant concrete, waterproofing concrete, mass concrete, natural curing precast concrete, reinforced concrete and pre-stressed concrete, green high-strength high-performance concrete and super high-strength concrete.

III. Usage

Addition: The amount of adding this product is 0.4~1.0%, the common amount is 0.75% (calculated as the percentage of dry powder admixture to cement in weight, and the liquid one should be converted to the weight of dry powder based on the content of solid, and then calculated). When preparing low-grade concrete or adopting slag cement or portland-pozzolana cement, you had better select and use the amount of 0.4~0.6%; while preparing high-grade and pre-stressed reinforced concrete, you had better use the amount of 0.75~1.0%.

IV. The Best Method of Adding Admixture

Harsh Aggregate + Cementing Materials + Fine Aggregate + over 90% Water + Admixture and Residual Water → Fresh Finished Concrete

Stirring Dry Materials → Stirring Wet ones → Continuing to Stir ones → Providing ones with Construction

To ensure the best effect, we suggest the users who first use this product or change the variety of cement to make necessary trial of concrete test and match for the amount and method of adding water-reducing admixture and stirring time referring to the above-mentioned introduction according to the project requirements and actual conditions. During the process of construction, the user should strictly control the amount of water-reducing admixture and mixing water. The user should add water to stir firstly and then add water-reducing admixture when using porous aggregate

V. Packing and Storing

1. This product is 25kgs/bag, and is packed in plastic bag internally and in woven bag externally. The liquid one is packed in plastic drum or flexitank.2. The power admixture shall be kept in the dry place with precaution against dampness. But the damp one will not be affected on its effect, and can be used after proportioned to water solution.

3. The powder one has a service life of two years; liquid one has a service life of six months. If it is beyond its service life, it can be used again after the concrete mix and test.
