Function
1. Absorption
The fibers distribute in the asphaltum, and their huge surface area becomes the soakage interface

At the same time, because both the fibers and the surrounding asphaltum attached the surface of the aggregate, the asphalt membrane is enlarged, makes for slowing down the aging rate, further prolong the lifetime of the roads.
2. Stability
The asphaltum attached by the cross binding fibers increased the proportion of the structural asphaltum, decreased the free asphaltum, enforced the treacliness of the MASTIC, improved the softening point, thereby improved the stability of the SMA bulking material.
3. Reinforcement
The fibers distribute in the MASTIC in 3D and stochastic, which could prevent the crack of the bulking material, consequently increase the healing power of nature of the crack of the asphalt roads and decrease the crack.
